Averill created “No Nuclear Terror” for the War Resisters League in 1979 for WRL anti-nuclear organizing as part of a series of posters on various issues.

This project is among the initiatives Artists Against the Bomb are developing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the world's first nuclear test, Trinity.

The Biennial takes place from October 2 to November 25, 2025, and showcases 80 monumental posters welcoming visitors at its main venue.

To the artists included they say, "It is a true honor to present your work, as this exhibition marks a significant milestone for the art and antinuclear activist scene in Colombia, opening new horizons for the movement across Latin America."

Peg’s poster “No Nuclear Terror – Power or Weapons!” is included in that exhibit.

The War Resisters League is honored to continue Peg Averill's memory by having her artwork included in the Artists Against the Bomb ongoing exhibits as part of the first International Art Biennial of Antioquia and Medellín (BIAM) (bienalantioquia.com) in Colombia....
