Same I lived close to Chicago. My sister was older I remember bras being burned for womens rights. Thousands in the streets. Not going back to many people have worked and suffered for us to have the rights we have.
In the 60's I watched the Civil Rights movement unfold. In the 70's, I watched the Women's Rights movement unfold. In between, the Vietnam War played out on the evening news.
