The White House position is that it is no big deal that Putin is helping Iran try to kill US soldiers.
Always remember rule #1. Putin can do no wrong in Trumpβs eyes.
Wonder why that is?

Amazing that once again the major beneficiary from the US-initiated crisis in the middle east is Putin.
The Daily Mail self-describes in its headline
They might think that they are patriotic, but The Daily Mail and The Sun are actually traitors
The choice is stark. Reform are the party of foreign wars and high bills.
The Greens want de-escalation and energy security through renewables. Solar and wind prices don't fluctuate when rogue US presidents launch illegal bombing campaigns.
Mattβs next job could be in plumbing (he just doesnβt know it yet)
π€
There has never been a better reason to accelerate renewables in the UK. Putin is benefiting from higher prices and supply which is why Farage is anti wind and solar
No problem. She did about an hour or so after I asked. Nice photos on here
Every time Nigel Farage's parties have lost an election he has blamed it on "cheating" by ethnic minorities and every time he receives huge amounts of media attention for doing so.
The only problem? No evidence of cheating is ever found

Lib Dem Leader Ed Davey:
"Tax exiles like Isabel Oakeshott and washed up old footballers who mock ordinary people who stay in the UK and pay our taxes... As we protect them, it's only right for tax exiles to start paying taxes to fund our armed forces, just like the rest of us".
Says the man who tried to go to the Chagos Islands for a photo opportunity a week before a by-election
Thank you π
Hannah, we are so happy to welcome you to Parliament and to the team of @greenparty.org.uk MPs! ππβοΈ
What war did Joe Biden start?
2p.m Monday now, also 60% renewables
@andrewsparrowgdn.bsky.social I know it is worth little with all the other news going on today, but has Hannah Spencer taken her seat in the House yet please?
Just what we need. A massive war launched in the middle east by a man with no plan. Again
Everything about Badenoch can be understood through the fact she sees the world through the lens of her βethnic enemiesβ: a totalising worldview that will always, always, make the people who hold it say and do stupid things.
Was the PM's statement a retaliation for the drone attack?
βLegitimate concernsβ has become a euphemism for endorsing racism and a cynical attempt by governments to hide from their own responsibility and failure.
It is the slogan of cowards.
The excuse for bigots.
And it blocks our path to an honest national debate on immigration. Shame on all who use it.
There's no big mystery.
This wasn't "electoral fraud" or "postal votes" or "family voting" or "sectarianism".
Reform's platform is all about shouting at foreigners and Muslims.
And a diverse, young, well-educated population told them where to go.
It was no deeper than that!π

Express Headline: Nigel Farage pledges postal voting ban and end to Commonwealth voting rights The Reform UK leader claims postal voting has turned elections into a 'laughing stock'
Screenshot from news reporting about leader's voting in 2024: Green Party co-leader Carla Denyer voted in the west of England. Reform UK leader Nigel Farage voted by post.
π¨Postal Votes
Farage is also blaming Postal votes...
Side note - Farage voted by Postal Vote in the 2024 election.

I'm sure Reform are equally concerned by this kind of "Family voting"!π

'The most toxic by-election in British history: a masterclass in how diversity and multiculturalism have failed.' @PatrickChristys gives a breakdown of the controversial campaigns in the Gorton and Denton by-election, accusing the Greens of 'shamelessly pandering' to Muslims. A picture of Patrick Christys in a GB News studio.
GB News ran a piece about the Greens "shamelessly pandering to Muslims"
Imagine any other broadcasting channel running a piece suggesting "shamelessly pandering to Jews"
That person would be kicked off the air quite rightly, within hours, but say it about Muslims and that's okay...

Author's own graph of the Gorton and Denton parliamentary election results in 2019, 2024, and 2026. It compares the progressive votes of Lib Dem, Labour, and Green with the right-wing votes of Conservatives and Reform. In 2024 it has a separate column for the Workers' Party. It highlights that the progressive vote has always been significantly higher than the right-wing vote.
Yes, the Greens had a historic win - but largely because they switched from Labour.
Reform consolidated the Right Wing vote and clearly managed to pick up some new voters
So it's weird to see how adamant they are that they only lost because of some form of "cheating"
OK, the Gorton and Denton by-election, I have some thoughts!
Let's take a look at some of the FACTS and burst a few of the more ridiculous takes doing the rounds
But first up, can we acknowledge just what bad losers Reform are?!π€£
Right, let's get started...

Reform supporters will agree with this.
Reform supporters will never vote Labour.
Keir Starmer has to stop trying to appeal right wing voters.
Is Morgan McSweeney still advising Keir Starmer?
