Agree last year’s album was really good. 👍 Only saw them once (Luminous era) and was really disappointed. Was gutted as I’d looked forward to it for so long. Played SWAS about 4 songs in, then Who can Say and everything after that fell flat.

With Sea within a Sea onto the shortlist for best closing track of all time as well.

If Primary Colours was a debut I reckon it could win this. Masterpiece.

My ‘close but no cigar’ group included Fleet Foxes, Editors, White Lies (massively underrated I think, superb album), Klaxons and MGMT.

Probably loads I’ve forgotten but my top 5 is cast in stone. Especially number 1.

Decided against the nostalgia trip to see Ned’s. Scratching the nostalgia itch in a different way…35 years, definitely not what I’d call a Dalliance.

It actually feels like we might be. A country where we look out for each other, show care, empathy, kindness. A country where we come together, recognise that strength comes from our similarities rather than worrying about differences.
