Anyone else watching Shifty and hearing Adam Curtisโ voice in their head, ghost narrating the meme-like all caps text over grainy video?

Ahhhh it is a relief and a delight to read this reaction. Iโm for ever and always grateful for the contributions of so many talented folks to Moz Blog over the years, but some stuff we just gotta retire.
This Moz email is a master class on how to delete old content by 3rd-party contributors while still showing respect for the author

Have any selfconfessed nontechnical folks tried this process? Weโve added some updates and troubleshooting tip from @tory.thegray.co if youโre thinking of giving it a go!

Itโs interesting to see some of the effects of โAI contentโ on search and the internet represented visually in @dr-pete.bsky.socialโs volitility chart.
โItโs also possible that the right core updates in 2023-2024 were, at least in part, an attempt to close that box.โ
โItโs likely that some of the โheatโ we saw across 2023 was a result of opening Pandoraโs box of machine- generated content.โ
Tasty cruffin labelled London fog
What could be more on-brand than London city thick with fog and an aptly named cruffin
Published our annual "Google Warming" report, with 11 years of data at-a-glance. Google reported an astonishing 4,781 launched in 2023, and 2024 was one of the hottest years on record. How can we disentangle it all?

Just 3 weeks left to pitch your awesome idea for MozCon 2025. We have events in New York and London this year. Not sure how to pitch? Chima has got you covered ๐ moz.com/blog/mozcon-...
I'm kind of fascinated by the visibility we've lost in our data, this post has a few good ideas especially 4 and 5 that I hadn't thought of and are easy to implement / track.
My New Yearโs resolutions are: keep doing what Iโm doing, cut out the shit that didnโt work and double down on the shit that did.
Also drink less coffee. This is me on the 2nd, coffee in hand. Off to a great start ๐ฅณ
As the end of the year rolls nearer feeling lucky to have the chance to celebrate with a fantastic festive (pizza is festive right?) lunch with fabulous people
This reminds me of what we were chatting about at Mozcon a few years ago ๐ค @nickleroy.bsky.social
Very interested to see how this is put to use
I aspire to be able to mod an iPod
My colleague @dr-pete.bsky.social is still asleep, but his breakdown of recent Site Reputation Abuse shenanigans just went live.
The relationship between this update (and other recent updates) and affiliate monetisation is particularly interesting imo.

Your Brighton SEO San Diego talk was incredible

Like you, I do my time at the reel factory, and if i get delivered a lot of one type of content is used it as a log-off trigger. Then I get less of that content and stay on the platform longer. The system works, I guess
