I've had this idea for a long time and finally got to try it out! This piece is six panels of acrylic sheets that I layered my painting on.
I love diaromas and gemstones that feels like tiny worlds. It was REALLY hard to get a photo of it with all the reflections.
I still need to make the frame!

Finished the design of my travel piece! I drew it directly into the fabric with a pencil. I haven't decided if I'll fill in the background or not. If I do I'll add a starry sky.

Oooh a kaleidoscope, flutter, or a rabble!! I think I like flutter or kaleidoscope best...rabble sounds like a bar crawl crew- actually that's hilarious 😂

Now do I set up a new embroidery and color map for another butterfly or do I finish these two?

Sometimes a project grabs me and won't let go until it's run it's course. I finished the stitching on these two butterflies now I need to back and bead them!
