Ya one 'advantage' of learning art when you're an adult is you can't get away with bad habits even from the start haha. Art is surprisingly physical!

Deckard escaped by distributing his consciousness across pieces of origami. They'd wanted to control him through his dreams; instead, he nano'd into oblivion that was sanctuary. A thousand years later he'd reconstitute himself, gaze down ruined boulevards. 1/3

Are stars still forming in the Milky Way's satellite galaxies? Found among the Small Magellanic Cloud's (SMC's) clusters and nebulas, NGC 346 is a star forming region about 200 light-years across, pictured here in the center of a Hubble Space Telescope image. A satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) is a wonder of the southern sky, a mere 210,000 light-years distant in the constellation of the Toucan (Tucana). Exploring NGC 346, astronomers have identified a population of embryonic stars strung along the dark, intersecting dust lanes visible here on the right. Still collapsing within their natal clouds, the stellar infants' light is reddened by the intervening dust. Toward the top of the frame is another star cluster with intrinsically older and redder stars. A small, irregular galaxy, the SMC itself represents a type of galaxy more common in the early Universe. These small galaxies, though, are thought to be building blocks for the larger galaxies present today. All 30: 2020 November APODs voiced by AI

Elmer Fudd is in bed with a beautiful woman, but she's sad. She says she feels all alone in the world. Elmer says, "The treatment is simple. The great bunny Bugs is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." And the woman bursts into tears. Says, "But Elmer...I am Bugs Bunny."

None of these get too heavy because if you're taking cyberpunk too seriously youve lost the plot. The video game has lots of gore and violence but its also very cartoonish

Snowcrash by neal stephenson is a classic. William Gibson's early stuff really invented the genre so you'll see where a lot of conventions come from, but his more recent stuff like Peripheral is better written imo. Cyberpunk the video game also great ofc and is based on the ttrpg

Great article but as an Albertan I have to inform you there are plenty of mice. Just no rats. We had the same mice fantasies! Redwall makes a lot more sense to me now that i pive in a place with rats. Also please imagine having never seen a rat in your life and seeing a full size rat trap.
