Different visitors have different needs. Difficult to get the right balance on a single info board. Some want a short history; others just want to know where the nearest toilets are! Maybe best to think of info boards as “portals”; a brief synopsis then various QR codes to different types of info.

A recent survey of heritage trail hikers told us they want more “information boards”. So - not cheap & there’s no “one size fits all” - it seemed like a good idea to gather lots of different examples, for consultation fodder. The Good, Bad & Ugly are all here
