i used to draw on the margins and back pages of the mandatory bible we had to carry around in school. i remember the other students horrified, but also got some others to draw in it with me. it was the only reason i was sad when it was finally gone.
seriously so glad it’s almost done. now if only we could just time jump to 2028 in a blink.

i had the stinking realization it’s been almost or around 7 months of not having you in my daily life since leaving fb. i send love daily to yous through the ether and also the squishy is turning double digits. the second so odd, yet true.
sadly very relatable and as Matt said having gone through this over the decades this time does feel different. you’re not alone in these feelings and how hard and exhausting it is. i feel not losing our voices matters even when we can’t see why. yours reached me when i needed it ❤️

i’ve been having such great difficulty figuring out how to describe mine. i’m happy when i can, but other times my mind just jumbles over how.

a difficult to describe scribble creature made with sharpie on cardboard backing. it has a bushy tail and is just sitting there.
Hodge wanted me to art in tandem, so i made these using crayons & cruddy pastels. i find kids art supplies to be difficult to use, flimsy & frustrating. we decided we’ll stick to quality materials. i made a sharpie sketch to shake it off. he went back to building object stories all around the house.
i just learned how to make this and can’t believe i never knew how before! so good, useful and comforting.
