I hate when I take the "good" pain med early in the day, I end up with insomnia.

Didn't do much for the pain, either, but at least I can turn my neck.

I just want one day of no crippling pain so I can do things.

Vertebrae is locked In my neck, both shoulders and a rib are subluxed/dislocated and every time I breathe or turn my head the pain shoots down my back and into my legs or arms and hands.

And I think I'm getting sick, too. FML.

Yep! It's pretty commonly used, especially for dogs like pitties who have very sensitive skin and prone to allergic dermatitis, to keep their skin moisturized and safe in case they lick it. But, in case your dog's like mine with a very sensitive pancreas, hold off. High fat foods can cause flares.

I'd stick with the fish oil, personally. Coconut oil has been linked to hair growth, at least in humans, but it's not better than the fish oil supplements. I only suggested the coconut oil as a moisturizer for the curry comb idea - sometimes massaging the skin may help stimulate hair growth. 💜

I'd get with the vet but, supplementing with fish oil, maybe massaging with a silicone curry comb and coconut oil could help stimulate the follicles? This could be a case of alopecia though, from the bacterial infection.

Anyone got a good recommendation for a neck support pillow, specifically for side sleepers? I've tried everything from the thick firm ones to memory foam to those curved ones, but my neck is congenitally fucked up and damaged from a previous auto accident. Even tried neck traction foam supports.

I wasn't able to nap. Between the severe neck pain, the migraine, and just physical exhaustion from everything today, I'm just going to take a pain med and curl up in bed with Roxy, my head and neck under ice packs.

I feel horrible for taking so long on comms and missing streams. I'm so sorry.

Roxy and I are home, no real answers. Possibly just super bad GERD / acid reflux, won't know if she's got a UTI for a few days. X-rays were clear.

I'm exhausted, with the worst migraine. I'm going to try to nap, then depending on her later, stream.

She's getting X-rays just in case of pneumonia starting, checking for UTI JIC since she's peed like six times since we got here and a stronger antacid injection. Still at the urgent care vet though.

We're currently on the way to the urgent care vet. Her coughing and hacking was getting worse.

Woke up with Roxy incredibly sick this morning. She's currently cuddled up with me and I'm going to see how she's doing a bit later, but stream might be a bit later. I owe commissions still and I promise I haven't forgotten. Between her health, my health, and the deaths in the fam it's been hectic.

No stream tonight but definitely planning for tomorrow! It's been extra stressful at work this week and I'm burnt out. 💜
