One of those days...
I enjoy the bird song
and the golden light
how it is making
the sandy ground sparkle
A light breeze --
cold yet refreshing
and I feel comfy
on my park bench
I love the people too
rejoicing in Early Spring
Only today
I don't like them
very much

End of March is coming up fast, that’s exciting! Release season is always a whirlwind. What’s the book about?
And academic writing too? That’s such a cool shift. I love it when different forms of writing start influencing each other creatively.

I’ve been deep in writing and editing lately, so I know the feeling! Working on dark romance and fantasy and staying busy. What have you been working on?

Dark fantasy is my favorite; I write dark romance and fantasy, too. Wishing you the best with querying! Are you open to connecting?

Congrats on finishing, 97k is a great milestone! That’s such a satisfying feeling when a story really comes together. What genre is The Forsaken Realm?

That kind of vulnerability is brave, and honestly, the pieces that scare us a little are often the strongest. Hoping they love it, will you share it if it gets published?

That character already sounds like trouble in the best way 😄 What kind of story are you putting him in?

That’s a tough spot, but it sounds like a story you really believe in. Indie could be a great path if trad doesn’t work out.
I write dark romance and fantasy, too. Would you like to connect and chat more about writing?

That sounds like a great concept. Isolation stories in space can be really powerful. And that fresh new-book feeling never gets old. Congrats again!
If you’re open to it, I’d love to chat and connect more about writing.

That’s a smart approach, having the whole timeline and world solid before publishing makes a lot of sense, especially for a series. I love the freedom self-publishing gives for that.

A mix of everything, real emotions, people I’ve met, and a little of myself. Sometimes a character starts with a feeling, and their personality grows from there.
Where do your characters usually come from?
