“The world’s largest gathering of detransitioners” included a total of 42 people.
Among those I count at least 3 desisters and 3 detransitioners from the UK.
I don't think the average citizen of the world understands how bad things are for transgender and genderqueer Americans right now. The persecution may be uneven across states, but it is relentless.

If I was Maya Forstater, and I had dedicated my life to decimating the rights trans people have in this country by claiming they pose some kind of safety threat to women, I probably wouldn’t pay money to be surrounded by a group I claim to be so frightened of and that pose an inherent safety risk.
