I think this is great to see, and I can't wait to read it!
Mere hours to snag a bonkers deal on the Nordic schadenfreude hexcrawl of your nightmares.
Seriously, this game, its rules, its magic, and its world are just unprecedentedly *complete*. A self-contained evocative story game that's also a brutal OSR masterpiece. Skip a few coffees and pick this up.
Holy shit this is sick as hell
Maybe we are siblings after all, assuming they were both also gambling addicts
One ran a speakeasy and was a bookie for the mob, the other was a gambling addict and a con man. As far as I can tell they never met, but now I want to write fanfiction about my own life.
Oooooh I'm intrigued!
This is an out-of-context all timer
Now you too can wield the shotgun that killed Seabiscuit!*
*Probably not, actually. But maybe??
I fixed that! Also, I'm kattkirsch on discord if that's easier for you.
Thanks Hino! I'll have to ruin my sleep schedule one of these Wednesdays and catch you up on it
Thanks Tony, high praise coming from you!
Bsky washed the colour out a bit; gonna have to look into that. But! you get the idea.
Work in progress spread from an rpg book, Yellowleaf. A woman's eyes are silhouetted in glyphs repeating "WARNING" down a page, with the shadow of a futuristic helmet and body armour. On the right, that same woman is smoking a cigarette in a workshop. The text above, a dialogue between two characters, reads: βHey, does that, like, do anything?β βDoes what?β βThe smoking.β βOH. Ah, yeah. I meanβ¦ not really. Itβs just, likeβ¦ an old habit, I think? It feels like something I used to do.β βHey sure, I get it. No judgement. I could use a sense of routine.β βRight? I justβ¦ itβs just nice to have something to do with my hands, something so that they feel like theyβre my hands, ya know?β βAs far as Iβm concerned, theyβre yours, these are mine. I bought βem, so theyβre good as mine, I figure.β βRented.β βHmm?β βYour hands. Your body, mine. Weβre renting them. Iβm not sure I own my own body here.β βIβd like to see them try to get it back.β
WIP spread that I'm pretty happy with so far.
Poetry is alive, poetry is well, poetry thanks you for your service.
I would play a phantom dust demake to absolute death. Anyone, everyone, we need this!
Too late you fool, I've already finished your book and told all my book nerd friends to buy it! Your elaborate tricks won't work on me! I think!
Seriously though this sounds so rad, I'll have to sick my Orleans girlies on you <3
"So different I wasn't sure how to review it" might be the best review for Cravenheart Manor I could ever hope for. <3
I've had one of these kicking around for a long time, now. Maybe this is the excuse I need to write it. Hmm
Omg thanks so much! That means a lot π₯°
So fuckin good
Damn these are good
I could probably pull this off.
My most exciting zine month pickup of the year is down to its last window. Not so much advertising as a public service announcement, you'll want to pick this up on itch if you don't grab it on paper because Stella simply doesn't miss.
"That kind of grandeur never feels like yours. It baulks at ownership, insisting with force that it be looked upon, filled, and appreciated. I, too, wanted these things, for this great hall and myself, alike."
Cravenheart Manor is out now on itch.

As a queer in Kansas, I really appreciate your solidarity, JD.
Disintegration, Bloodflowers.
I'm gonna do this, it sounds like a lovely time and feels like it puts a good energy into the world.
No yeah that all checks out.
