The two types of puzzles are Outer Wilds and Tunic. All puzzles fall into these two categories.

Celestial Resort crystal heart? Outer Wilds. Reflection crystal heart? Tunic.

Escape rooms? Outer Wilds. Sudoku? Tunic.

Despite being directly from Outer Wilds, inputting the coordinates is Tunic.

mainly because of how it stole the spotlight of pocket dungeon (which is way better) simply because it had nitrome's name on it

and celeste is a game where you otherwise wouldn't take notes, so this being the only instance where notes are needed make it easier to just look up the solution on repeat playthroughs instead of writing it down in a designated spot

compared to, say, "crouch on this block for 5 seconds" or "go up the waterfall after cleaning up"

Those are fun to figure out and easy to memorize after you've figured them out. they're like outer wilds puzzles.

reflection crystal heart is more like a tunic puzzle. you gotta look at your notes

summit crystal heart is fun bc of how much the route changes from just beating the level regularly

least favorite is reflection, only because every time i replay the game i'm like "welp, gotta look this up now"

like i know what the solution is, but sequences of inputs are hard to memorize
