Anyone who is not walking or running is using a mobility aid. Cars, boats, and airplanes are mobility aids. Those who try to shame and exclude disabled people from public life need a new attitude. I use a walker now, and it helps me do a lot that I couldn't do without it because of pain. Let's go! 😎

The new Spotify thing where they estimate your age based on your listening history? Mine came up 20 years younger than my actual age because I try a lot of newer artists. Of course I have plenty of favorites from my youth, but I really enjoy discovering a broad variety of music styles/genres.
I use this for one of my cats and it's still a struggle. She only weighs about 7 pounds but when it's time to clip her claws, she transforms into the banshee from hell. The "space helmet" is the only thing that keeps her from biting my hands off. She's very sweet otherwise!

I just went out of my way to buy an appliance from a local store instead of a big box. Their website is nothing fancy, but it gives a history of the company (since 1962), their actual values and community ties, and their prices are just as good as the big boys. Bonus: very helpful phone service.

I'm afraid of Norwegian Elkhounds due to a bad childhood experience, but I do love dogs. I like big, friendly, happy dogs like Bernese Mountain Dogs, Leonbergers, Chinook Dogs, and Flat-coated Retrievers. I can't have one where I live, sadly. I love Greyhounds too, they are so sweet. ❤️

Their PR machine is very good at attracting wealthy tourists. Most people have no idea what's going on behind the sheen of luxury. If they do know, and still go there, they don't care how the government treats workers, who are largely immigrants. I would feel extremely uncomfortable visiting Dubai.
Tatsoi, Mizuna, Gai Lan, Tuscan kale, and Spigarello are some of my favorite Brassicas. If you have never had Spigarello, get thee to a farmer's market in the autumn, it's somewhat like broccolini but better. It's easy to grow yourself too.
