Watched One Battle After Another today.
Enjoyed it overall but found it difficult to 'believe' in the characters. Felt I was 'watching a film' rather too much.

So pointless.

It's not clear any more whether Royal Mail 'Tracked 24' is actually talking about days vs hours.

Played Splotter's Roads & Boats last night for the first time.
It was charming and brain burny .. but oh so fiddly. I may unintentionally have cheated a number of times as so much to track. And it went over 3 hours for a 2 player map.
I'm still unsure what I think of it. #boardgames

I am truly astonished how bad he is at this. I was expecting mediocre competence but this is several fathoms below.

Can't believe the Labour strategy of going door to door since the election, punching their voters in the face and yelling 'What are you going to do, vote for someone else?' didn't work out.

Found a sort of wizard-looking dude in some old minis and decided white / grey was better than the official 5P purple as I can potentially use the grey neutral bases from the expansion if transformed into a creature.
Labyrinth board had to be printed across multiple sheets as bigger than A4.

Completed the Wiz War (8th edition) project.
Pasted up the German Bestial Forces cards, created Malefic Curses cards from scratch & used a variety of foamboard, foam and spare punchboard cardboard to make the tokens.
Making a life tracker is beyond my skill so a cube / track it is for 5P #boardgames

Just caught Starmer on PMQs utterly refusing to answer the question about the unfairness of student loans.
Instead he deflected repeatedly by talking about something else entirely.
When Tories PMs did this, we all rightly scoffed.
Starmer can't be allowed to get a free pass.

Hopefully I'll get it finished and played in the next month 😀

I 'might' try and create a print and play deck from scratch for this (sleeving all the cards). The fifth player pieces 'could' be proxied but I'd need to track health on some kind of card (vs the dials). However there are also a lot of tokens so I may admit defeat on this one.

Someone has very kindly posted an English art file via bgg of the expansion cards - so a lot of printing and sticking is ahead to paste them up. Finally there is the Malefic Curses expansion - this seems impossible to get hold of in any language.
