ICE was was created by merging the former U.S. Customs Service and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to protect national security and public. It was not created out of thin air in 2003.

- extensively reformed ICE
- a new org
- moving the function under CBP (also needs reform)
The legal and lawful functions of ICE is necessary. Extreme reform of ICE, replacement with a new agency, or providing the function through CBP is the path forward.
We all need to encourage continued migration. Especially Med and Disability Twitter. Changing platforms and rebuilding connections is a huge energy drain.
