also, I must note that I slightly prefer Pillars of Eternity II to the original, but sadly it's missing from the website's database :(

3x3 grid of nine game covers: Elden Ring Baldur's Gate III Hades The Last of Us Part II Super Metroid Chrono Trigger The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Pillars of Eternity New Super Mario Bros.
alrighty sure I'll do the my9games.com thing (spoiler alert I like rpgs)
Ah shit this takes a long time.
Okay I’ll do it. I’ll make a video game.
The battle system has that long delay between enemy deaths that the PS1 version had too, which drives me crazy.
It’s a crime that there’s no good way to play Chrono Trigger on modern platforms.

FINAL
✅ That's Scorigami!! It's the 1092nd unique final score in NFL history.
Here's one for all the game devs out there www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
An image from the recent Kirby Air Riders Direct. Director Masahiro Sakurai is talking about game development, the captions read "Oh dear...", "Why is making a game so hard"
Game development.
Staying up way too late replaying BOTW. It’s so stunning in 4K with HDR, and just buttery smooth.
Yeah, rubberbanding on top of item RNG doesn’t feel good at all. Can’t create any breathing room, so when the RNG hits you’re just screwed.
I dunno though, maybe I’m missing something.
No way…
You can remap the controls for GameCube games. I just inverted the C-stick horizontal camera controls for Wind Waker.
This is so awesome.
The L/R buttons on the joycons are interesting. They wrap around farther down the side of the controllers now, so you can press them with the side of your fingers now. Accidentally tapped them a couple times, but I kinda like the idea.
Switch 2 looks and feels extremely nice. OS and shop are super snappy, lots of neat little UI and sound touches everywhere.
F-Zero GX runs silky smooth, Mario Kart World looks fantastic. Excited to play with it more tonight!
Someone made a website where we all collectively solve every possible 5x5 Nonogram (aka Picross) 😅
11,263 down, 24,965,248 to go! Let's do it, folks!

Elden Ring's lore is awesome and I'm fascinated to see what story they've chosen to tell. I'm kinda hoping it's a prequel to the game that shows the Night of Black Knives and The Shattering. Might be a lot to stuff into one movie though.
OK, this is exciting as hell. My favorite game adapted by one of my favorite writer-directors and produced by one of my favorite studios.

I've been making video games in some form for 20 years, so I wrote an article about my process - and why I don't use an engine.

Watched Rogue One immediately after.
It’s amazing how well Andor leads into that movie and contextualizes so many things.
But on the other hand, Rogue One’s pacing feels jarringly frantic in comparison, and Jyn is still the glaring weak point.
Andor stuck the landing, my god. What a show.
Still haven’t really started to connect with the story yet (7-ish hours in?), but Clair Obscur is indeed very fun.
I spent well over a month talking to investors to get the actual data behind what’s happening to the games industry. I was going to say “enjoy!” but it’s, uh, not great.

Quite pleased I can cosplay Guy Gardner in Arc Raiders.
Normally I am against the idea of sniper drones and authoritarian police surveillance states.
But in the case of movie theaters and noisy audience members…
Never played Oblivion and (crappy outdoor world performance aside) I'm loving the remastered version. This game has so much personality.
Hey wow thank you so much dude! That’s very kind of you, reading that gave me a little boost I needed today 🙂
And yes, I’m working on a new game, and I should have something to show soon -- I’ll post about it here when I do.
Welcome to bluesky! 🦋
I just made this upgrade to my game today and you're right it's stupid fast. Just under half a second on my machine.
It's also great because you can grab every single cel and pack it optimally, and when rendering dynamically toggle a sprite's layers for outfits and whatnot. Frickin' awesome.
Whoever is editing these 28 Years Later trailers deserves an award.

Man that thing kicked my ass. I tried him twice last night solo, triple carted both times lol.
The size of his fireball attacks is ridiculous. Having to clear the crystals is a fun wrinkle though.
