Have been in London this week, will be heading back west tomorrow lunchtime, until Friday. Dad's making progress, Mam's keeping going.
As I was brushing my teeth this morning, I thought "I must wish Frances a happy birthday" - and then promptly forgot π€¦ββοΈ.
So while there's still an hour and a half of the day left: Happy Birthday! π

Somewhat reminds me of the duck which my aunt knitted for me when I was a baby: something went wrong with the stuffing, and that combined with the look it had from how she'd sewed the eyes resulted in my dad naming it Vernon the Violent Duck.
(I think Vernon may be in a box in my parents' loft ...)
Same - I moved to Radio 3 at breakfast time years ago, and then for the whole day during Covid.
