It's always tough to figure out what phase of illustration we're in, but I think we've moved on from the 80s vibe / airbush gradient era into the cute / naive era.
Or maybe its just a rejection of polish era, which is really good for me.

Walked by a Turbotax pop-up in Soho. Ig they do your taxes there or something but were also selling merch like tshirts with the Turbotax logo. The store was completely empty and all of the employees were sitting on a couch together. That storefront probably costs at least $50k a month to rent.
