This is an understatement. I think that's 99% of my regrets, is not having taken action quickly enough.

Those look great-- I'd love to borrow your code :) I have to build my own here this week
It's incredible how easy it is to underestimate how hard it is to start a company. Even the smallest companies take massive amounts of time, effort, brainpower to succeed with the smallest ideas.
It's super satisfying to own that, but I'm amazed how often I underestimate the effort.

Do the hardest thing first, everyday.

That is a great one too!!
He's got so much good stuff! I love Digital Minimalism and Deep Work are some of my favorites
I just wrote about this topic!
I'm writing a weekly newsletter on Substack (for free!) called Mindset Mondays, and just covered the 'Eat the Frog' concept, along with some research to back it up.

Eat The Frog.
Every night, I sit down and find the one thing I'm dreading.
Thatβs the thing I start with every day.
Research shows that this can reduce stress, free up mental bandwidth, and make you happier.

I know a ton of people use Vim, but I still don't think it gets enough kudos. It just works, and works great.
It was better when I didn't know I had type errors! ;)
I totally hear you-- it took me a minute to get used to TypeScript.
I see both sides, but I tend to agree-- encouraging others in what they're building, regardless of what their intentions are is a good thing.
Lift each other up, it's scary putting something new out there.
This is great. I've been so entrenched in React world that seeing the use of HTMX and other languages besides Javascript is a breath of fresh air.
It would be great to see frameworks with smaller footprints catch on.
It looks performant too.
What's everyone's favorite tools to build landing pages?
I've looked at Framer, Magic UI, Squarespace, etc.
I'll probably build one over using Framer, but curious what everyone uses.

It's interesting to watch my profiles on Twitter & Bluesky.
Twitter seems to have more going on, but Bluesky's engagement seems more genuine.
Leaning towards focusing on Bluesky moving forward.
I've been using flatuicolorpicker to find decent colors, what do you use? Is there something better out there?
Mindset Mondays Substack just went live! π

This is a great newsletter for founders, solopreneurs, and people needing an extra boost.
I'll tell stories and share insights I've had about how I've shifted my mindset and how I tackle challenges daily.
You can't have all three for your project, which one is the least important to you?

what's up!
It's like telling a teenager what to code-- they're going to hear about 60% of what you said, but can code it in ~30 seconds.
@v0.dev is legit. I built a synth yesterday and working on a landing page today.
It's not as satisfying as writing code for me, but it's useful for things that I wish just existed already (like landing pages).
I've strangely had the drive to speak lately. Start making the conversation. I'd contribute a lot of it to deciding to pursue building companies.
It's empowering and exciting, something I've been missing.
I'm planning on building in public as much as I can. Twitch, Substack, Blue Sky & Twitter.
I've been using Arc, which I like a lot. I'm not sure it's a slam dunk for dev work, but it feels... fresh
Messing with @midjourney the last couple of days, and this photo is hilarious
