This whole miniature computer with working keyboard thing is fun!
youtu.be/kNDcdgFMyA4?...
Once the Mini Amiga keyboard is released, it’ll be possible to 3D print a working mini A1200 case for it! Thanks to 10p6 for the hard work doing the case!
More TheA500 mini Amiga development happenings!!
The caps lock LED on the latest (and now Final) PCB works!
The only thing left to develop is the keycap colours! Software is pretty much done, im only feature creeping at this point
Thankyou for trying :-)
I’ll have a play here .
Just received the ‘final’ keyboard PCB’s in the post! They seem to be working. Now to the software and fancy secret RGB function testing!
Perfect, thankyou. if you can't find / get the info I'm kinda settled on RAL1013 for the lighter keycaps, and RAL7032 or RAL7044 for darker ones, but that's eyeballing and comparing to an iphone screen and badly calibrated monitor :-P....I need go find some colour swatches!
would you have any ideas regarding the colours used on the A500 keycaps. I'm about to start mixing up epoxy pigments to colur match, but figured i'd see if there's a lazy option and a RAL or other standard óff the shelf' colour that's close enough.
Been a while!.....Next step, getting those colours correct!

Can you reach out!...Need advice on colours - we last chatted on Twitter / X

Some Amiga stuff!
Keybaord’s looking great :-)
Matching mini floppy drive making a little progress also!
They're for sucking, not f*cking ;-)
it'll be like LED's....power / costs won't be saved as more lights will be installed to use the existing power. If anything, this'll simply make existing models an order of magnitude more complex for a given compute ability.
iteration number fifty four....it'll fit, it's gotta fit :-P Gonna print off this bad boy later today, AGAIN..... 0.2mm may not seem much, but that's the difference between repeatedly successful prints and failure for this particular project
Aye, only just discovered the channel, almost every video had me grinning at the awesome speccy ports and cringing more often at the crap speccy ports!
Getting rather tight inside the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Next Mini case for the Xberry Pi.
Tolerances are superb! An original Next coloured insert fits perfectly!
Glad to hear!
Always makes me giggle when I play with mine!
I can’t wait for people to get their hands on the Amiga one tho, that’s been a journey and a half!!
I’ve learned so much this past few years! So please shout if I can help!
My Amiga ones are even better than these and have taken a fraction of the time!
I’ll be ramping up to make other retro computer keybaords this year now my processes are ironed out!

Hey! Yep, they saved a good few weeks of work, so eternally grateful on that. thickened up bits here and there, replaced most of my shit show with nice clean lines from yours!
