Every month the United States provides even more reason to boycott its products and companies β the strikes on Iran being just the latest.
In light of that, itβs a great time to ditch the products and services of US tech companies. I made a comprehensive guide to help you.
If you have not read Persepolis you should, it is an extremely powerful graphic novel thats available for free on the Internet Archive: archive.org/details/pers... Though I would also highly reccomend supporting Marjane directly and purchasing it as well.
Long live 2D animation (& practical effects).
While I think it's one of the better Open Worlds, this has always been my main criticism of the basegame, and something I really enjoyed about the DLC. Smaller and tighter, without losing that sense of open world exploration.
important to understand that there's real domestic pressure from the large Iranian community in Canada to support this action
Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.

This seems exceptionally wasteful to me.
SO! With Steam #nextfest kicked off I'mma start my thread of demos I played and the thoughts I had about them
These are all currently free to try out and I recommend you go do that if anything here sounds interesting!
Also! Having more to say doesn't necessarily mean better (or worse!)

(Also are we really surprised a banker isn't pushing for a basic income program?)
While I agree with a lot of people in the replies, these are half measures (UBI or GBI would help more the people who need it than a tax credit etc), the volatility of the world rn kinda requires it. Divesting from the Untied States might be the biggest thing we've ever done. Gotta backburner stuff.

A Drow holding an axe and smiling at it in an insane way.
I'm told that the blade itself incites to deeds of violence
je suis un ananas will live forever rent free in my head
purple alien creature, green eyes, huge mouth, long teeth (clenched together, grinning), green gloves, is taking off a human punk face with green spiky hair and a massive safety pin pierced through the cheeks. behind them a person is flying a plane, someone is driving a tank, an alien with a super elongated head is also there as well as a young woman. a platform is high above.
