There was some good stuff happening at skills matter.

I wish that I could post into a public special interest community in Bluesky and that only people who were interested in that community were bombarded with those posts.

It could even go as far as when I follow someone I decide on which of their interests I want to follow.

I struggle to post on Bluesky and twitter because I’m not defined by one thing. Which one do I choose, and if I choose one where to I talk about the other things I’m interested in?

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a fan of Facebook, just that I wish that groups or communities were available on Bluesky.

I can see Bluesky’s appeal as a direct twitter replacement. Great!

For me it’s still lacking what I really want from a social media platform.

Most people I know have 6+ interests. I’m mostly not interested in all 6.

This is one of the things I think facebook and Facebook groups get right.
