I don’t need to excuse anything and I‘m also not aiming to look better. I just can’t stand blind extremism, especially if it turns out to be hypocritical. Tell me: Are you using Windows? Are you feeding the worst monster in this business? Have you at least turned of data gathering?

And maybe so artists won’t trip over their own principles: Stop using Windows (Recall will screenshot your shit), stop using Adobe and Affinity Photo. Linux, Krita, Blender is your prospering future.

I beg to differ. I used it on my profile picture. Regardless, I can apply any tools I want on MY screenshots. Ever heard of artistic freedom? Or are you running around telling artists to stop using Photoshop, because filters may or may not incorporate some form of machine learning?

Why am I not allowed to like it? My view on AI is differentiated. Working in IT, I can't ignore it or I'll be unemployed sooner or later. I need to deal with it and I stated my ethos here, which includes my understanding and support for artists telling AI to fucking stay off their turf.

I'm not sure if you are aware that my posted screenshot was of something Tea put at the back of her booth. It made me giggle. I share that feeling often enough.

Basically to give an SL screenshot a more artistic look or to gain some inspiration from it. Gen AI gave me the impulse to have a more vibrant orange on my OC, but the skins were always hand-made either by me or professionals. That's were I have drawn the line for myself.
