Been saying this for years
Been saying this for years
Another object photographed by Telescope.Live that I have processed in New Zealand. The Dolphin Head Nebula, SH2-308.
Great, I just put all my money in dark energy futures.
yep
Dark nebula in the constellation Lupus
My telescope is gathering dust lately so I decided to work on some data from TelescopeLive. This is a three-panel mosaic of the Lupus Dark Nebula.
So all day Iβve been making things for our mini-Thanksgiving dinner for just the two of usβturkey legs and wings, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, pecan pieβand being surprised when deliveries show up and mail gets delivered but then I remember that we moved to New Zealand 14 years agoβ¦
Iβve never thought about this until you asked the question, but I always liked being called on to read in class, yet being asked to speak in any other way terrified me for a long time.
That day is already here for me.
One of my favourite Aurora shots, taken last year near my house on the South Island of NZ.
Nancy Mace is gonna have a conniption.
The Cat's Paw nebula as shot with my 8" SCT and a ZWO ASI533MC pro camera (two-frame mosaic).
In my other life I run a boutique hotel where we offer dinner to some guests. This is a new take on a popular dessert, a strawberry gateau with crème mousseline and sponge cake with a cognac soak and a marzipan top. Rhubarb reduction as a bit of colour and additional flavour added for good measure.
I think the term is a βflashβ of photographers.
It seems to me highly improbable but it also seems that weβd be unlikely to encounter alien life forms because of the vast distances involved.
Milky Way over Mt Cook reflected in Hooker Lake
One of my first Milky Way shots, taken in bitter cold conditions at Hooker Lake at Aoraki Mt Cook in 2021.
Thought Iβd share my first post on Bluesky of a bit of the (night) sky that happens to be rather blue. Carina nebula shot from my patio in Oamaru NZ.
Signed up on 6 Nov like everyone else.
Yup, Kiwi here.
