Yeah I will eventually graduate back to a tank. But I really can't afford to drop $100 on a compressor at the moment. And rattle cans were chalky because of heat and humidity.

I got myself one of those cheap airbrushes from Amazon at around $20 that is USB-C rechargeable. I'd not want to use it for details but it serves as a decent primer sprayer as I'm in a place where rattle cans can only be used 1 month a year. #Warhammer #Warhammer40k #BlackTemplars #Hobby

The secret is I'm a basic builder and I only use markers so I just draw on and smudge the excess away with my thumb. Haven't gotten brave enough to try in or the flow type markers as I see people break models and I don't have a space for spirits.
