I just had a call with a @riversidefm.bsky.social rep where I mentioned that I don't use the post-production tools (AI, editing, transcribing, captioning, etc.) but just need the platform as a recording studio. And that I'd love to be offered that tier. I bet there are others who would use that?

A downtown road filled completely with protesters, extending into the distance.
We headed up to the skyway when we lost feeling in our toes. Into the far distance they kept walking. People around us taking off boots to warm feet, to put boots back on, to get back in the stream of people.

That makes me feel things. Also, getting Mike to actually pose for a photo I took from MN was one of the things we didn’t have time to execute for the piece. But not turns out he can just do that on his own.
To achieve the accents, I took writing in those languages, often poems, and then inserted my english phrases into the middle of those sentences in other languages. I think that's what makes it read them phonetically with an accent of the surrounding language.
I was delighted to talk to @neverpo.st about the acoustics of "influencer voice". We had a great discussion about the linguistic uses of uptalk and creaky voice/"vocal fry", language change & Labov's saccadic leaders, and why the speech styles on TikTok/Instagram/YouTube aren't really dialects.
