I was raised Evangelical and even before 2016, I wasn't comfortable with a lot of what was being preached. Now it's 10x worse. I do consider myself Christian still, but I don't think I could step back into the church I grew up in. It's absolutely a cult with cult mentality and that makes me so sad.
It was like this in Korea as well. Huge coffee culture (love it or hate it) but I'm used to coffee shops opening at early as 6 or 630- makes it easy for commuters to grab and go. Really Korea, 10am??
