It's been simmering all night, definitely done. Started the lasagna. I go by memory of what my parents did. No recipe, a heavy meat sauce. As usual I made way too much, just means more for later, fry up some sausage, add it then cook some ziti. My wife & I will have the sauce tonight with ziti lol

I grew up a Vikings fan. Tarkenton, purple people eaters. One of the reasons purple has been my favorite color , Jimi is the other lol

I only drink stouts and porters, so I feel for ya, and one reason Guinness is my go to, only 4.2 abv, it's basically a lite beer.
But I'm with you now adays I prefer whisky too!

They are so good, but with 2.5+ pounds of cheese, 6 eggs between crust and filling, almost a pound of meat, a pound of flour etc. These things weigh over 5 pounds each, that's out of the pan weight, au naturale

Two homemade deepdish Italion pies affectionately named Apizza Gain or Pizza Rustica depending on where in Italy it was made. The pies are just out of the oven with a golden basket weave top crust in a 9" springform pan traditionally used for cheese cakes .

I could use to miss a meal or two this holiday season since I made my Easter pies for Thanksgiving this year 😬😬🤣.

Vultures are easily my 2nd favorite bird. Bald Eagles being numero unofficial for me. I love how they just float on the thermals for hours it seems, and they seem so gentle and friendly 😍

I finally saw a bird earlier this week, it been a while since I posted much. This Great Blue Heron flew into a tree near the pond we were walking at. Then decided to fly across the pond. #birds #wildlife
