I'd start by abolishing the post of home secretary and splitting their responsibilities amongst other minister because it's simply too non-specific a role and the only tool available to them appears to be ratcheting up fascism

what I think folk need to learn from mahmood is that it's not enough to just get rid of a bad home sec, or a bad prime minister or trump etc because there will always be someone worse lined up to fill their shoes, there needs to be a structural realignment or these ghouls will keep repopulating
