Not getting my hopes up about the hysterical thing happening; while they’re certainly bad enough to go down, it looks like Wet Spam have a more difficult run in.

Having said that, do we want the Scousers to pummel them next week or might that mean they dump Tudor who is doing such great work?

If things get that bad, I suspect their nuclear option to save the institution would be Charles taking ultimate responsibility and abdicating, partly on those grounds plus ill health and hoping that Billy Idle steadies the ship.

I hope that doesn’t work, but we might get to see.

WD and Seagate confirm: Hard drives for 2026 sold out Hyperscalers are tearing hard drives out of the hands of manufacturers. Prices are therefore also rising for SSDs.

I saw a conspiracy theory yesterday that the goal is to eliminate all local data storage and push everything into the corporate cloud where it will be scraped to train A.I. (and exploit us)

And I'm having a difficult time dismissing it

Someone asked me if the 97 years between the two Mansfield games is the longest period between two games for Arsenal playing an opponent in a competitive 1st team game.
The answer is no. There were 102 years between Arsenal playing Lincoln in Division 2 (6 March 1915) and the FA Cup (11 March 2017)

Some PR advice for the Andrew-stricken royals – try something that look less like a $12m cover-up | Marina Hyde A big loan to keep the case out of court doesn’t quite add up to β€˜thoughts and prayers to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein’. Working with the police might be a start, says Guardian columnist Marina Hyde

read online that someone set-up a premium rate phone number where callers get charged $3.99/ min. then they posted flyers in their neighborhood that said "call this number to report illegal aliens," but the number just puts them on hold with music. so far, they've made $17,000

There’s one guy in the Epstein files who isn’t talked about enough…

Alex Acosta was the U.S. Attorney who gave Epstein that sweetheart deal. It allowed Epstein to avoid federal prosecution for sex trafficking and abuse of minors.

He served only 13 months in county jail with work release.

When we were all making fun of Scaramucci, I never thought I'd be quoting him but here we are. We need Congress to do its job.

Russia says President Putin has been invited to join Trump’s Board of Peace for Gaza.

Astonishing to invite one of history’s most egregious warmongers on to a peace board. The international rules are already in the bin.

The UK was better off in the EU and Europe was better off with the UK in it.

All of this Trump driven chaos underlines that and you can practically hear Putin rubbing his hands in Moscow.

WE have deliberately weakened ourselves, our security and our region for absolutely no good purpose at all.

I’ve been stalwart backer of transatlantic alliance all my life. I understand why Europeans have so far trod softly/tried to keep Trump onside. But, there comes a time when you have to face reality. The US is no longer our ally. Its defense guarantee is worthless. Time to kick ass back🧡

One of the conceits of UK constitutional history is that how the UK is configured has existed since time immemorial and is eternal.

No: the improvisations of 1707, 1801 and 1922 were work-arounds owing to the politics of the time.

The gloss of our "ancient constitution" was painted on afterwards.

Where has he said Britain is shit?

He’s said we’re not big enough, which is a simple statement of fact.

The choice is between being a partner with our European neighbours or a vassal state to a US led by a corrupt, demented, idiotic Orange wannabe dictator.

Cartoonists capture the moment in the US again.

ICE is a vast, poorly-trained and lethally-equipped, paramilitary force, with a budget larger than most armies, an open threat to people in the US. It's loyal to those who fund it, from the orange down.

Killing a legal observer shows what is intended

For shame Guardian - this is poverty tourism to boost the Windsors tattered PR; try reflecting that in the headline.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra Β£208 per month will β€œruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a β€œpoor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

The leader isn't Labour's problem

Their problem is that people elected them to reverse the damage done by the Tories

Whereas they just carried on doing more damage

They need to tax wealth and invest in public services

And challenge the oligarchs dominating our economy

And focus on fairness
