Ser Duncan the Tall and Egg. Dunk is a tall young man with shaggy brown hair, scratching the back of his head, looking sheepish. He wears a muddy earth-toned surcoat over a mail shirt, and his helmet, gauntlets and greaves are rough and pitted. Slung on his side is a shield, painted like a medieval tournament shield, depicting a shooting star over an elm tree on an evening sky. Along the border of the shield are the words "Oak and Iron, guard me well, or else I'm dead and doomed to hell." Egg is a small pale boy with a bald head covered in a straw hat, wearing a long maroon tunic and carrying Dunk's helmet and lance.

To be clear, I don't really care that there aren't gonna be any queer romance options in the game. I never expected that. Hell, I might not have even noticed. But the open contempt that the devs have shown in the last couple days have killed any interest I might have had in it.

Man, I was really looking forward to Knight's Path. The visuals and attention to detail are absolutely stunning.
It sucks being queer and into medieval history.

Getting really into history can be isolating sometimes. What I imagine at the word “Viking” is so completely different from what the average person imagines, that it can be kinda hard to bridge the gap in conversation. Because I know it’s wildly different from what I imagined 10 or even 5 years ago.

He's a 1580's mercenary Schwarzer Reiter, and he can't stand French gendarmes. Whether he's Catholic or Protestant depends on who's paying him.
