I think one of the challenges of our time will be separating where AI might be appropriate and where it isn’t. If you need to rely on it, it isn’t. If it’s creative, it isn’t -if you want people to care. If it’s education, it is tricky and mostly not. It’s a short list where it might be appropriate

Thomson Reuters Wins First Major AI Copyright Case in the US The Thomson Reuters decision has big implications for the battle between generative AI companies and rights holders.

Testing the notion of fair use, and saying the AI tool fails the test in this case, that it uses stolen copyrighted material to create a competitor to the original… therefore harming the value of the original… that’s big!
