The cover features an image from Tavaziva’s Greed, a work that was at the centre of a Choreographic Forum hosted by the Society earlier this year, in collaboration with Kauma Arts.

The article engages with Franco Battiato’s music and even includes a notated sketch in Kinetography Laban of the sema performance hosted at the venue.

This issue includes my article, “Sampling the Mevlevi Sema: Circulation of a Sufi Practice within a Queer Nightlife Event in Milan” - an auto-ethnographic, multisensorial analysis of an electronic dance music event organised in December 2023 by the art collective Nul.
