I've updated my fundraiser. I started it before the date I was forced to leave, so the information was a little out of date.

Needless to say, I pulled that out, rinsed it, checked the cones and repacked *that* bearing PDQ. Wasn't planning on doing that tonight, but I also didn't have "lose front wheel, get fractures" on my agenda, so yeah, that got done.
Fun things I'd notice if I did more regular maintenance on my bike:
Not noticing that the front cup and cone bearing has gotten sloppy enough that the front wheel is fully a centimeter wibbly in the fork, on my daily, because the stem bracket loosened on the handlebars.
Slightly terrifying.
The odds were good, and fortune smiled, I am very soaked but unscathed.
Need to get the new hybrid gravel tires on rims and mount them up already. Yesterday's game of "Where's the slot pothole in all this water?" sucked.
Well, this'll be fun. Windstorm last night along with rain, so I'm sure the roads won't totally be littered with sticks, garbage, and other things that make for an Interesting Day™ on 2" tire beads.
