the Bremen berg was photographed by Stephen Rehorek, a passenger on SS Bremen, five days after the sinking. it shows signs of collision damage, almost perfectly matches survivors' descriptions and sketches of the iceberg as looking like 'the Rock of Gibraltar', and is absolutely *beautiful*

until now, the picture has been this one, taken from the Prinz Adalbert the day after the sinking. it's a beautiful berg, but there's no way it could have been the one.
Massive news for nerds! a few weeks ago, the wiki page about the iceberg that sank the Titanic was FINALLY updated so that the main picture is now the 'Bremen berg', which I've long believed is the most likely candidate for the actual berg
