Every semester/year since 2015, I teach the histories of smallpox vaccination.
And every semester/year, I have had anti-vaxxers/vaccine hesitant people in my classes.
If I want to change their minds, telling them how evil or stupid they are isn't going to cut it.

I remember some of my UoB students saying they were mocked for not being 'posh enough'. BCU students are much more likely to be from the local area or Midlands 70% commute, and many in student digs are from Coventry, Northampton, Leicester, Wolverhampton and that kind of distance away.
A lot of people at UoB openly assumed I must have had private education cos my northern accent isn't obviously regional.
Since moving to BCU down the road, I notice how many more staff (academics especially), have Brummie or other notable regional UK accents & don't make assumptions about me.
