In laws inadvertently joining the station-naming discourse
Do you think they keep Bo3 for playoffs?
Also, we have our home opener Feb. 22nd and then our next home game is... April 12th
Sounders are hosting Timbers on a Thursday at 7:30pm... 3 days before the World Cup Final.
Not my favorite!
Wait, the Superior Court upheld that she was impeding traffic even though there was a second lane available and clear?
A map of a hypothetical MLS realignment containing 5 divisions of 6 teams. Dark Blue: Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Minnesota, Toronto, and Montreal Yellow: San Jose, LAFC, Los Angeles, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Colorado Red: Chicago, Columbus, Cincinnati, Nashville, St. Louis, Kansas City Green: Dallas, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami Light Blue: New England, New York City, New York Red Bulls, Philadelphia, DC, Charlotte
Someone on reddit came up with this unholy abomination, but I think it retains the major rivalries?
I also saw one that had Cascadia + Texas, and then all of California with RSL and Colorado.
But I think yours is by far the most likely.
Crazy to think we’ve probably seen our last June Sounders games at Lumen ever.
Spokane is crazy (but sounds kinda fun).
Are you aware of closer options, like UW?
Only MLS Cup has ever been played in December, so only 2 teams play in December and 16 teams in November.
The regular season currently ends mid October and the new winter break will be mid December. So, going from 1 game in December to 30 games in December is not negligible.
I'm ambivalent on the change, but there is a difference between early vs. late February & mid October (decision day 2025) vs. mid December (last game before break in new format).
It's a little frustrating that the only response to these concerns is to falsely equate it to our existing schedule.
Have they been testing with 4 car trains? Or, when does that happen?
Screenshot of text that reads: 2023 – Tap-to-pay! Throughout 2022, as we launch the myORCA app and website and expand the retail network, we will continue to make hardware and software improvements across the ORCA system. This includes implementing the technical building blocks for payment via virtual card, also known as tap-to-pay. Beginning next year, you will be able to pay for rides using your smartphone.
With all due respect, I've heard this before.
When can we expect an announcement?
iirc it’s around like ~800/day
PEPO. FOR. PUSKÁS. 😤
Pedro de la Vega's golazo v. Cruz Azul has been short-listed for the FIFA Puskás Award!

You think we see Ryan Kent in Minnesota?
Another state that jumps out: Washington.
—Seattle's mayor's race
—also big stakes in Seattle's prosecutor + council + tax measure
—new exec in King County
—control of Spokane
—Olympia's labor measure
—competitive legislative specials
—school boards split on inclusion
—even a statewide referendum
Yep. And my money is on a neat 0% increase in bike parking
Is it too naive to hope Grand Illusion can take over the space?
I like Seattle
I have a feeling that if Katie Wilson were coming off a 4 year CM term, the goalposts would move and she would still be deemed 'unqualified'.
The true intent comes through when calling her a "college school dropout" or bashing her work history for not being white collar enough.
A rainbow over bus and bike lanes
Save the gay bus lane
Transit App bike directions are the best.
Looking forward to hearing more from you about this "misappropriation of credentials"
I imagine the Seattle Times would not accept this submission if it were a complaint about the loud boos against the opponent at *any* Seahawks game.
Feeling cute, might print out a 100 of these and staple them over the complaints.
When are they allowed to overturn decisions without going to the monitor?
pepo's goal, my heart will go on version
Not to beat a dead horse, but it’s inane that they’re leaving the 5th Ave gap untouched here.
Noooooooooooooooooooo
