Today marks the beginning of my PhD journey in Microbiology & Immunology at @pitt-pmi.bsky.social. I’m looking forward to starting lab rotations, learning new techniques, and returning to the classroom this fall. Excited for what’s ahead!
So thankful for the opportunity to spend my summer with the Hatfull Lab as a research fellow before starting my PhD this fall. I studied the role of gene Msmeg_5894 in phage infection of Mycobacterium smegmatis. Big thanks to the Hatfull crew for an amazing summer!
Excited to share that I’ve graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Microbiology, a minor in Chemistry, and a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.
This fall, I’ll begin my PhD in Microbiology & Immunology through @pitt-pmi.bsky.social, H2P 🎓
