Found this listing for an NYC appearance on May 14. Have any other dates been announced?
I'm guessing lunch is just a bit north of $6.31 these days.
Oh, that's awesome. Will definitely keep an eye out for next year!
I've said many times that "Dear God" is one of the best angry pop songs ever written. Somehow I'd never seen the video though. Appropriately dark and creepy.
I thought about going to this but couldn't make it work. Looks like it was a lot of fun!

Predicted TV News as an entertainment and profit making endeavour
Was considered far fetched at the time when it was actually very prescient

Nice review. Putting this on my watchlist.
I enjoyed these fun little side journeys into the world of Phantasm, with their spotlights on different characters. Hope you like it, too.
I was invited to participate in Women Writers Week at the Ebert website, and I wrote about Isabella Rossellini's performance in BLUE VELVET, and how she helped guide the film into its dark and mysteries places.

How I arrived on Bluesky
Check out this in-depth look at the evolution of Mulholland Drive and the differences between TV pilot and final film. Thanks to William Dickerson for including me (and my book) in this analysis! scriptmag.com/devious-drea...
Nice article about what had to be an awesome experience, Scott. And Mateo's still working there? We got to know him so well on our visit we offered to adopt him (only half-jokingly).
Even with, like, 30 straight jackpots, Dougie never even cracked half a mil!
You know what would be really cool? If Mary herself bought this and will now host tours of the Lynch House. Um, right Mary?
Hoping the best for that sweet little guy.
David Lynch saying βOne day, the sadness will end. But I donβt think todayβs the day.β
It's almost like the FIFA Peace prize means nothing to him.
Makes you wanna say, "Harry, the killer is literally right there!"
Agreed! And so much of what WIP covered at the time is still otherwise hard to find today. I'm especially looking forward to re-reading coverage of more obscure 90s/early 2000s projects from Lynch, Frost, and other alums.
So much more than a footnote, John! For Twin Peaks fandom, nothing was more important in keeping it alive during the post-FWWM, pre-Gold Box era.
Cover of Wrapped in Plastic Magazine #1.
Rapidly rebuilding my Wrapped in Plastic collection. Bank account also seems to be rapidly depleting. Probably not a coincidence (but worth it). @thornewip.bsky.social #TwinPeaks
An arrow right to the heart!
Wish I had been there. Planning to make a return visit later this year, though!
This show has entered my regular podcast rotation. Highly recommended.
BOTH Palmer houses. Nice!
Yes! Been hoping to see more pics from the weekend.
Have a great Twin Peaks Day, Eli!
Image of Laura Palmer, with angels on either side of her.
Update: Employer refuses to recognize this as a valid religious observance so I'm suing for faith-based discrimination. I mean, it's got angels and everything!
Opening to Twin Peaks with Welcome to Twin Peaks sign.
Claiming #TwinPeaks Day as a religious holiday so I don't have to go to work.
