Super happy with the work y'all have done. You should be proud! Shipping a game seems like an impossible task. Congrats!

I have never been more impressed with a game that I will not finish than I am with Blue Prince. I am 45 hours in and am legitimately about 25% of the way done. I have seen what I have left to do and the iceberg continues to get deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper.
This is hitting the same spot in my brain as Backbreaker Football did on the 360. I'd spend a ton of time in the replay mode just rewinding and playing two seconds of a particularly crunchy tackle.
Street Fighter 6 has a neat system where you can use a DLC character you don't own for an hour or two. Forward thinking stuff!
doing some looks into fighting game monetization and it's definitely a tricky topic. There's a nearly impossible balance between a good 'get in the door' price versus DLC price versus consumer friendliness versus financial sustainability. I'm not sure F2P models are always the right answer either.
End of the day, our financial system says that number has to go up. When a service game dies, itβs dead. Thereβs no going back. Itβs not just discord dead. You simply cannot play it anymore unless you play it on hacky private servers. Multiversus tried and, up until this videoβs launch, failed to make a major impact. If youβre watching this video a year, two years, five years in the future, this very well could be the only way you can experience this game that simply used to be.
i guess i need to rewrite this part lmfao #multiversus
no you need to flip the switch
