Sadly, I couldnβt attend all of todayβs sessions as I knocked out after 2pm due to no sleep but luckily sessions are recorded ππ½ππ½

Also shoutout to @veni.dev for being the plug when it comes to events like these because I would have never known this conference existed without her posts and the @diversifytech.com newsletter π₯Ήππ½
And Iβm running on no sleep because of insomnia π
Iβm attending Girl Geek Xβs Elevate Conference today and omg iβve never been to a conference where I wanted to attend every single session before π€©
Babe, what's wrong? You've barely mentioned the horrors beyond human comprehension.
Nothing worse than catching a cold while on vacation π€§ it makes me miss my bed even more lol

Omg Tabs! Hello, friend! *waves frantically*
Yep, I did a google gemini api course on udacity. It was more of a starter course where it introduced llms and gemini, and then outside the course, i built a small project using the gemini api which was fun
thatβs so awesome!! truly the best way to learn is to just start building πͺπ½ i recently dug into LLMs and gen AI and i also learned a lot, including new terms and concepts, so when I was reading through your skeets (i think thatβs what theyβre called lol), i was like hey i know some of those words π
Whaaat no way! I assumed that you had been doing ML for awhile loll
Me reading this π΅βπ« lol but sounds super cool!!
I know we donβt know each other, but it actually does mean a lot to see who actually enjoy sharing a digital space with me.
If youβre new to Bluesky, this is a really helpful thread that explains how to use this platform:
Agreed!
Hey Andrew! ππ½ Iβm currently working on tidelift-me-up, which is a small app to help open source maintainers get funding for their npm packages through a service called Tidelift
tidelift-me-up-site.vercel.app
Can I ask what youβre building? π
Also shoutout to @joshuakgoldberg.com for making the contribution process SO EASY and providing support along the way!!
Itβs been a few yrs since I contributed to open source but I truly credit open source to how I got started in tech. So Iβm excited to be baaackk.
My small dev win today is that Iβm back to contributing to open source ππ½ππ½
It's self-review time again
I canβt think of two better ppl to come together and create a podcast and talk all things tech ππ½ iβm seateddd
