His smug ass deserves this.

Symphony Nova Scotia on stage
Gen and me in our seats
Just back from Symphony Nova Scotia performing "Star Wars vs Star Trek" with my friend Gen. Really exciting and moving and fun! Highlights: guest emcee Jonathan Del Arco (Hugh the Borg from ST:TNG), and when he conducted the orchestra in the encore performance, the Mos Eisley cantina bar music.
I'll be there! No earrings, though. π
What, me worry?
Head shot photo of me as a young teenager
Found at my parents' house. I'm guessing I was 13 or 14?
Do I know anyone here who's a big LOTR fan, will be in Halifax on March 7th, and might want to go to this concert? I have an extra ticket and my usual suspects are all unavailable or already going. feverup.com/m/500236
I lived in London for 9 years, and had rellies near Newcastle so often drove through the Midlands, and visited all over, but I was assured by locLs I didn't need to spend much time in the original Halifax. π
We're the kinder, gentler, less land-locked Halifax. π€

Keep your eyes peeled. #dadjokes
I shoveled last night between 6-7pm, when it was still light snow, and I'm glad I did. There wasn't much to do this morning except the heavy mess the road plow filled in at the end of my driveway. Bless you, Yesterday Tim. #HaliSky

A loon bobbing among the wintery waves in Halifax Harbour
The new boat-building structure for the Halifax Maritime Museum of the Atlantic looks quite cool from the outside.
Also cool outside: this loon, just off the Queen's Marque steps.

A reminder for those of us in winter: clean your heat pump's air filters. I'd let this slip longer than I should have, just cleaned them, and it's now blasting heat like a furnace.
Whoops, I accidentally deleted a post.
Here are the two street interview video clips I did yesterday in Halifax, one for CTV local and one for Global national, both about people using AI for healthcare questions.

And then here's the segment from Global indie about 60 seconds later. π #HaliSky globalnews.ca/video/116623...
They asked about using AI. I cannot say for sure how they generated the questions. That would, indeed, be pretty meta if they used AI to generate questions to ask a human about AI.
And it looks like there's a good chance I'm on local CTV News *and* Global National News tonight (or soon). I was walking home along Spring Garden Road and reporters for each stopped to ask me AI questions. #HaliSky
Me, outside an elementary school
Many years ago I worked for the Canadian Space Agency. My 6th grader's class is doing a module on space technology, so today I talked to them about my experiences. And then answered lots of questions like, How much money could you get for a moon rock? π

UK pop-punk artist Yungblud, dressed in black with arms crossed
I like rock music but I don't care for Yungblud. Do I have good taste or am I old? (Or both? π€)
