I'll look into those! I love booting the hacks on my steamdeck its just such a joy. I've been DEEP in pokerogue.net for while now its a blast if you haven't tried.
Also if things like emus and great browser games like PokeRouge exist they SHOULD step their game up. But they never will because everyone just buys their half cooked games regardless. There is no reason mainline games in 2026 should play like the Gameboy ones. Its all lipstick on a pig imo.
They keep putting out half-built bad games and people keep clambering to buy them. I'll never understand. Legends was the best in a while but still looked half baked. Scar/Vio made me ill with how hollow the world was. I won't be purchasing a Poke game until they actual put effort into making one.
