Tiley, the former Australian Open tournament director & Tennis Australia chief executive, has joined on a longterm contract.
Tiley replaces Lew Sherr, who last summer left the USTA to join the New York Mets as chief executive.
The women’s tour has launched a new council designed to provide “actionable” changes to its tournament calendar and rules by the start of the 2027 season.
