While visiting Atlanta I tried out this restaurant Beetlecat. The food was sooo good. I just hated that it was small plates. Everything was delicious especially the blueberry kale salad. I actually need to remake that because it was perfection.

Mikey and Melβs Famous Deli has so much foodβboth breakfast and lunch all day until they close at 4pm. We ordered an insane Hot Pastrami Reuben with a latke and the sandwich of the month, which was tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, and pesto on a parmesan crusted bagel. Delicious! #BlackGirlsExploreDC
Mallard in Logan Circle has some decadent desserts! Omg the coffee and cigarettes is insanely rich - there's coffee beans, and toffee, and pudding and ice cream and olive oil -- it's a LOT! But overall, it was a delight. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
I had dinner at Mallard which serves upscale Southern style dishes. From fried oysters and fried duck to flounder stuffed w/ crab. Overall, the food was delicious. Personally, the appetizers and small plates were fantastic. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
One of my favorite food trucks, Kush which serves Sudanese fast casual, now has a permanent location in Edgewood.Iβve eaten half the menu at this point. The chicken shawarma bowl is a good blend of spices and veggies and tender chicken. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
Did you know that Phillipe Chow has a discount tasting menu called Moet and Satay? It's only $88 Mon-Friday and goes up to $110 on the weekends. You get four courses and an entire bottle of Moet. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
I went to Fraiche, the newish restaurant in Columbia Heights by TikToker, mr make it happen. Overall, I thought the food was okay. The bread pudding was excellent. I would not reorder the Golden Gate Noodles. They were way too sweet. Everything else was just alright. #BlackGirlsExploreDC

Perfect motto!
Accra is a perfect name for this Ghanaian restaurant in the Bronx. Everything was as droolworthy as it looks. The jollof, plantain, stew, fish, etc were so good.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden was so beautiful! I was pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty walkable space with plenty of pockets of peace. I loved it more than expected.
I finally visited the Trap Music Museum in Atlanta. It was pretty cool. Not as informative as a Smithsonian museum, but a great interactive experience with amazing images.
I loved visiting the Georgia Aquarium even though it was insanely priced!!! But omg the animals were so majestic.
Did you know that this little pop-up in Union Market specializes in chicken and waffles all day?! Fancy Ranch Amish Fried Chicken served buttery fluffy waffles and savory, crispy fried chicken daily at Union Market. Check it out! #BlackGirlsExploreDC
Librae Bakery in NYC (Manhattan) keeps going viral for their baked goods and, welllll, it's worth it lol. The pistacho croissant was soooo decadent. I loved it! They also had a strawberry danish and that was fabulous too.
I went to Accra Restaurant in the Bronx. My bowl ended up being 3.5 meals. Inside was jollof, chicken stew, bean stew, fried sweet plantains. One hundred percent delicious.
Did you know Grazie Nonna now has brunch? Sat and Sun from 11am - 2pm. The Sunday Sauce pasta dish was one of the more comforting dishes I've had recently! The meat sauce is packed with short rib, sausage and soooo many herbs. And the pancakes were a nice little treat too. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
I didn't try the kitfo here, but I tried it at another restaurant for the first time www.tiktok.com/@blackgirlse...
Ethiopian dishes are delicious. Iβve been advocating for an Ethiopian BBQ in South Florida for years like Smoke βN Ash from Arlington.
Omg that looks amazing!!!
Sly is the sleek new rooftop bar at The Morrow Hotel by Marcus Samuelsson. Personally, I wasn't totally enamored, everything good though and the vibe is perfect. Would still go for a sunset vibe.

Two phenomenal sampler platters from Ethiopic on H St. One is veggie and one is beef and chicken. Omgggg - all of this was delicious. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
Sharing the two tibs I loved the most at Ethiopic. So one was regular and the other was in a stew. The fried tilapia was also buttery, flaky, delight. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
After someone recommended it to me a million years ago, I finally made it to Las Placitas in Navy Yard! And yep, it was so good especially the pupusas. No wonder, they've lasted for 30 years! #BlackGirlsExploreDC
My friend and I really enjoyed the fried chicken at Strand, a restaurant in Deanwood. Great vibes in there - chill bar, with great happy hour featuring items under $10. Definitely worth popping in to. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
I'd been hearing all good things about a new restaurant in Deanwood, Strand. It was lovely! I liked the cornbread which tasted more like cake and I was a huge fan of the crab dip. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
I have typically gotten the incredible charcuterie boards to pair with my wine at St. Vincent Wine Bar. But I decided to dive into their pasta menu and was soooo happy with my choices. The short rib pasta and lobster were both excellent. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
The dessert options at St. Vincent Wine Bar are always good including the lemon poppyseed donut holes. SO good. #BlackGirlsExploreDC
