Quick composition sketch featuring Astaroth Zorem, also known as Requiem or “The King”, holding in his hand a snake which is in turn wrapped around his arm. (yes that’s a snake. That’s supposed to be a snake. Does it looks like a snake?? I hope so I only blocked it in with flat colors and an accent of scales) The 9th crown is gently held by thin drapes over his head and the word limit is the only thing stopping me from lore dumping. [The character design is not final, especially palette-wise]

DAWNSLAYER || “Imagine a rooster, which actually fights the “dawn” instead of just screaming” Little lore overview I thought about and wanted to share while designing this: Dawnslayer is the title attributed to the Spirit of Stael which had been summoned to protect a civilization from an evil inevitable change. The Spirit defeated evil without problem, its flames engulfed any sign of malice: in a hour (celebrated as the Hour of Fire or more commonly as The Purge) every ill activity ceased, replaced with burning embers. The Spirit recalled said civilization under its protective wing, but it didn’t take much for them (the civilization) to realize what they had brought upon themselves. Dawnslayer being a Spirit of Stael is devoted to eternity, and eternity is what he brought upon their lands: destroying any sign of progress or innovation and maintained society hung up on the string of perpetuity. Nothing could fall, nothing could rise.

New art game just dropped: "Find all the Lavis" XD

Cover art made at the end of 2024 and start of 2025 || Frostbite, the oc belonging to Electovoid is depicted in a portrait. The spiral-centered composition followed as well by the snow is being cut by a harsh contrast between light and shadow, which also helps the character stand out being separated by the orange background.
