Last week, we held a critical conversation on Canada’s complicity in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Despite the supposed ‘ceasefire,’ Gaza is still being starved, bombed, and invaded by Israel in real time with the support of Canadian-made weaponry.
I mean if he becomes a senator we will have his voting record to look at so we will see
Also in the US in 2025 it's much easier to get elected as a fascist than as a leftist. If he had fascist politics why would he take the much more dificult leftist path to getting elected. All of MAGA is fascist and many democrats support the far right in other countries (Israel, Saudi Arabia, etc.)
I'm Canadian I just am not oblivious to the obvious fact that the socially progressive, left-wing Bernie endorsed guy whose holiday season reading list had Octavia Butler, Richard Wolf, David Graeber, Kim Kelly, Jane McAlevey, Eric Blanc, Eric Foner etc. is not a nazi.

Emily Lowan is a CCF Green, not a Liberal Green like Liz May. She is part of the tradition of Canadian democratic socialists like Tommy Douglas, Dave Barrett, J.S. Woodsworth and Ed Broadbent. The bigger question is why someone like her doesn't feel drawn to the BCNDP. I'm an ONDPer so idk but yea
