I had my physics students calculate the amount of power they can produce running up stairs today in class. They are often amazed at how the fastest person is not necessarily the most powerful.

In physics this week, we used the Vernier force plate to test and see what materials would help keep our astronauts safe upon landing. (We will be using two raw eggs to model our astronauts in the final drop test.)
Balloons aren't always the best option.
